February is Black History Month, which honors the legacy of Black people in Canada and their contribution to our communities and nation. This year's theme is "Black Excellence: A Heritage to Celebrate; a Future to Build."
BMCC is pleased to partner with TD Canada Trust to celebrate the sacrifices and services of our BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, people of color) veterans (Army, RCMP and Police) on February 29th, 2024. This is an annual inaugural legacy awards for our veterans to show them appreciation.
Black History Month is a time to learn more about these Canadian stories and the many other important contributions that Black Canadians and their communities have made to the history and continued growth of this country.
