PAC offers a free service to enhance businesses' understanding of government acquisitions and navigate the procurement process effectively.

Webinar Overview: In the upcoming webinar series, PAC is thrilled to offer a selection of informative sessions designed to empower businesses. These sessions will be conducted online and take place from 12 PM to 1 PM on three consecutive weeks, commencing on November 1st, followed by sessions on November 8th and 15th.

Myth Busting Federal Government Procurement: This session dispels common misconceptions about federal procurement and introduces valuable tools for businesses to identify opportunities. Live demos of essential resources like www.buyandsell.gc.ca will be featured.

Introduction to Federal Procurement: Businesses will gain a fundamental understanding of federal procurement, providing insights into how to become suppliers, locate opportunities, and navigate the procurement process.

How the Government Buys What You Sell: Delving deeper, this session reveals the intricacies of supplying goods to the government. It covers low-dollar value procurement, supply arrangements, and bid submission requirements.

Doing Business with the Government of Canada: A comprehensive overview of the procurement process, company registration, network-building, opportunity identification, bidding, and the prerequisites for security clearance and screening.

Federal Procurement for Indigenous Businesses: In collaboration with Indigenous Services Canada, this session delves into the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Businesses (PSIB) program, the Indigenous Business Directory, and essential resources for Indigenous businesses.

Registering as a Supplier: This hands-on workshop guides businesses through the supplier registration process. It emphasizes creating robust profiles and navigating GSIN codes. Participants are encouraged to bring their CRA Business Number and legal business name to complete registration during the session.
