2027 VIRTUAL BHM WELLNESS CONVERSATION: Racial Trauma & Healing (20 Feb 2027)

BLACK HISTORY MONTH WELLNESS
Topic: Racial Trauma & Healing for the Black Community

Access to culturally relevant mental health care remains a challenge for many people of African descent in Canada. This Black History Month, join the Black Manitobans Chamber of Commerce for a virtual conversation about racial trauma, healing, and community well-being.

On February 20, 2027, join Patrick Tshiovo, Clinical Therapist and Executive Director of Winnipeg RE/ACT Inc., for an open and thought-provoking discussion designed to educate, empower, and encourage healing.

This session offers members of the Black community and the broader public an opportunity to discuss racial trauma and its impacts openly, safely, and respectfully. Through shared learning and reflection, we will explore the importance of culturally relevant mental health support and community connections.

By creating space for people of African descent to share their lived experiences and feel heard, we help build a healthier, safer, and more inclusive society for all.

RSVP is required.
The Zoom link will only be sent to registered guests.
